Gluten Free Spinach & Sheeps Cheese Turkish Flat Bread

My all time favorite......

 

3 cups GF bread flour

Pinch of salt

Pinch of stevia

1/3 cup rice bran oil

105g baby spinach

55g sheeps cheese

Lemon wedges to serve

 

Mix 300m room temp water, salt and sugar in a deep bowl and mix thoroughly.

Sift flour into a deep bowl, add 2Tb rice bran oil, water mixture and fold to form the soft dough.

On a lightly floured bench and knead for 5mins until elastic. Cut dough into 4 and place on a paper covered tray covered with a tea towel for 20mins.

 

Roll each piece out into approx 30cm rectangles and top with ingredients. Season with sea salt and pepper. Fold dough together, pressing sides till sealed.

On a preheated ready to go bb med-high heat brush one side of gozleme with rice bran oil. Cook for 3mins(till golden) Brush otherside with oil, flip and cook for another 3mins(till golden).

Cut and serve with lemon wedges.

 

Feel free to experiment with ingredients. Keep in mind the calorie count is approx 475cal. Protein, carb and saturated fat content depend on ingredients. This gozleme is specifically low in saturated fat, no trans fats, gluten free and high in protein.
