Kids Yoga - the union of one's-self

Build the stepping stones with the correct tools to face any life pressure with confidence and enjoyment

When a person let alone a child feels at one with him/herself they are happy, healthy confident and kind. What better feeling could you have? And what better person to be around than one who has achieved all of this. It is about finding our true harmony by accessing all aspects of ourselves - body, mind and spirit.

Yoga has a rising popularity as well as being around for many years because of it's exercise benefits, special attention is brought to body awareness, strength and flexability. It teaches a child how it feels to be healthy, strong, balanced and flexible - 'a vital begining to a healthy life.' Some of us don't know how to become emotionally, physically and mentally balanced because we've never been given the tools and building blocks to use.

As children grow they are faced with more and more emotional, social and physical challenges or conflicts. With the ongoing practice of Yoga they become more capable to positively deal with these pressures using breathing techniques, beahavioural guidelines and physical postures that become extemely valuable along their journey in life.

Yoga is a rare opportunity to experience play and focus all-in-one without the fear or worry of failing/getting it wrong. Yoga is an option for those who shy away from sports or activities from fear of being picked last to join in acitivities that build confidence in a non judgemental environment, improves already athletic children's ability to move better, stronger, faster and most importantly develops the cornerstone values like non-harmful behaviour, gratitude, honesty and self-discipline for every child to have a kind mind towards themselves and others.

Being a Personal Trainer for more than 12 years now I honestly believe from a fitness point of view Yoga is one of the first stepping stones before burning monotonous calories to achieving a healthy body, because with self-respect and gratitude comes healthier choices.
