Raw Almond Milk

High protein, low GI, no trans fats and healthy calories for a growing bub. Great dairy/lactose,gluten free alternative for you and the kids. Raw foods are always super nutritious.

 

Recipe -

1 Cup raw organic almonds

Boiled water for soaking

3 Cups water

(optional) 2 Dates or 6 Cranberries (sulfer free and organic)

(optional) 1/2 Tsp vanilla bean paste

 

Preparation -

Soak the almonds overnight or atleast 6hours. Drain the water and discard. the 3 cups of water, almonds and cranberries untill well blended and almost smooth.

Strain the blended almond mixture.

Place remaining almond meal left in strainer in a sealed jar in the fridge for snack and meals.

Should keep in the fridge for (3)-4 days.

 

Add 1-2 heaped spoons of the fresh almond meals on your cereal/museli in the mornings, homemade cakes, stirfrys......
